Reading for our wellbeing

Now more than ever we need to look after our mental wellbeing. We may also have some extra time on our hands and be seeking support for our wellbeing. The Reading in Mind book scheme may just be what we need. The website has lists of selected books and other resources on a variety of mental health and wellbeing topics.

The good news is that although the libraries are closed, many of these resources are still available as e-books or audio books via the Christchurch City, Hurunui, Selwyn and Waimakariri Library websites.

When searching for resources, look for these symbols:

  – indicates downloadable Ebook available via the libraries

  – indicates downloadable Audio book available via the libraries

You just need to download the Overdrive app and have a library card.
