Why am I waiting in my car?
Due to the spread of Omicron in the community, we want to make sure that we keep all our patients as safe as possible. Maintaining physical distancing helps minimise the spread of the virus. This is for your safety and for the safety of the other patients.
What do I do if I start to feel worse?
If you feel nauseous or if you feel unsafe to drive, please alert a staff member for assistance.
I want to know the wait time.
Wait times will be variable and depend on the number of people in the queue waiting to get tested.

Is there a toilet available while I wait?
There is a portaloo available for your use. If you can’t see any, a staff member can point you in the right direction.
Can I get a COVID-19 test here for the purpose of travel?
We do not perform ‘Fit to Fly’ COVID-19 testing here. These are performed at General Practices around Christchurch.
