The Knowledge Management Team’s core functions are to:
- develop the best available information that will lead to the best health care decisions, and
- use high quality analysis to turn data into information to help with decision making.
Knowledge Management works to make sure that information is easy to find and use. They are involved in business intelligence, reporting and analysis and policy development. They also undertakes projects to support the delivery of care, for example the development of a queue management tool to help the 24 Hour Surgery to manage patient waiting times.
