Since its establishment, Pegasus Health has recognised the importance of research in ensuring clinical quality and safety in primary care. Pegasus recognises that participating and supporting health research is fundamental to meeting Pegasus Health’s vision, mission and strategy, and in particular to address health inequities.
The Pegasus Health Research Committee is the body at Pegasus that has oversight of research that Pegasus is involved in. It is a subcommittee of the Clinical Quality Advisory Board. Its purpose is to
- Identify areas of health research need
- Foster research collaborations
- Ensure that health research that is undertaken by Pegasus is undertaken in a robust and ethical manner
- Evaluate applications from health research groups requesting support from Pegasus
If you are a researcher interested in collaborating with Pegasus or you would like to request support for your research, please contact us. The Pegasus Health Research Committee is Dr Lynley Cook who can be contacted at Research.firstname.lastname@example.org
