Pegasus Health Chair appointed to Health Precinct Advisory Council

Congratulations to Peter Townsend, Chair of Pegasus Health, who has recently been appointed as the Independent Chair of the Health Precinct Advisory Council.

Peter is well-respected in Canterbury and nationally and has been closely involved in Canterbury’s development and regeneration for more than 20 years. He is a tireless advocate for Canterbury and always has the region’s best interests at heart in any role he fulfills.

Te Papa Hauora Health Precinct is the hub for health education, research and innovation in Canterbury. Te Papa Hauora Health Precinct’s development is guided by the Health Precinct Advisory Council. The Council is a strategic partnership between the University of Canterbury, the University of Otago, Ara Institute of Canterbury (previously called CPIT) and the Canterbury District Health Build, working with Matapopore (the Ngai Tūāhuriri earthquake recovery group) and the Crown.
